Project#3_Akin Acar_VD 2015

                  In this lab we had to fix the damaged picture which is the picture in the left.First I Fixed the background, I used Clone Stamp Toll to fix the background.First I cloned a little clear blue area,which I wanted whole background seem like, and then I cloned it to the damaged parts ones it got bigger I increased the size of the Clone Stamp Tool and I cloned wide area so I could finished the background easily.After that I started the face,again I used Clone stamp tool.To fix the blue wide area which is on the face of the right girl,I cloned a little skin color which I wanted to paste to the damaged blue area.When I copied the the skin color and wanted to past the blue damaged area it didn't let me paste more then several times so every time I paste the clone to the damaged area I had to copied over over again.When I fixed the twins face which is in the right started to fix the other twin which is in the left she had more damaged area then the other twin so couldn't clone any part from her face to fix her face so I cloned parts from other twin's face to fix the twin in the left.First to fix her eyes I cloned right twin's eye and paste it to left twin's eye I did same technique for mouth and some other parts to.The hard part was to fix the chin because every time I tried to fix that part I always disturb the chin.So I opened the old version of the picture again and with Lasso tool I made a layer via copy of the chin then I put that part to the picture that I wanted to fix.Until corner I used clone stamp tool again and in the corner I used Spot healing brush tool.To fix hair I reduced the size of the clone stamp tool.When I cloned the part of the hair I pasted in order if the part of the hair was horizontal I copied horizontal part and pasted in horizontal part.

Lab#5_Akin Acar_VD 2015 reflection

                In lab#6 I had to rid some the pictures such as the picture with fountain and I had to show older or newer such as the picture with  window.first I rid the picture which is with fountain from some of the rips.I used Clone stamp tool to get rid couple of rips around of the picture,but before I used it I pushed  button of "alt" to select which part i wanted to clone then I used Healing Tool to get rid of a rip on the bottom left corner.Then I started the picture with women who is climbing.First I used Clone stamp tool to erase the letters,to used it I pushed button of " alt" to clone a place,color etc.. then I erased it.After that I used Patch tool to get rid of some of the cracks.With Patch tool I selected a part of the picture so I could overlie the part of the picture.The hard part was to bring equivalent the part I selected with the patch tool to get rid of the cracks.The third picture was the picture with the guy.I rid the wrinkles in the frontal with Healing tool.I used it as I used it in the first  and the second picture,and I also rid some wrinkles under the eye with the same technique.And in the final picture which is with the window and flowers.In this picture I used several tools.First I selected the top of the picture with rectangular marquee tool and then used eyedropper tool to pain the selected part.Then to make it newer the frame which is in the right I used the Dodge tool and to make it former the frame which is in left I used Burn Tool but i had to be careful because when u used it a lot the color would change.For flowers I used Sponge Tool.The flower in the right I used Saturation feature of the Sponge tool to make it newer and I used desaturate feature to make it former the flower in the left.Then I opened a new background so I could put all the pictures together in a one frame.then I selected part of the background with the Rectangle Tool and I make colorful then I used Task tool to write my name,date class and lab# then I saved it.

Note Taking

                    The best way to remember and review what do in the class is taking notes.I always first write my name in the left up corner and teachers name right up corner and I write date under my name and class under teachers name.After that I write the Aim to understand what the topic is.Then I write whatever i need to remember and review.

Lab5_Akin Acar_VD Reflection

                         In this lab first i picked 2 different picture the first picture,I used liquify effect on it.
I ve change my noise,month my had, i made some part bigger some part smaller . I used pucker ,bloat,twist and forward warp.Then the other picture that I picked I duplicated 4 times so i had 5 of them.I went to filter in menu and then i went to filter gallery to covert the picture I used glowing edges,cutout,crosshatch,smudge stick, and halftone pattern filters.Then i wrote the name of the filters under pictures.Then I went to filter again render-and clouds to change background.With this I've change the background and I wrote my name ,date ,class with task tool.

project 2 reflection-Andy Warhol

            Andy Warhol, an American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art.His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture, and advertisement that flourished by the 1960s. After a successful career as a commercial illustrator, Warhol became a renowned and sometimes controversial artist.

              I wouldn't buy his artwork because first of all,I don't have that much money to buy and the second reason is I m not interested in "pop" art .It doesn't remind me anything because I've never seen any artwork with mix of different tone of colors.It's pleasant and also important to learn about Andy Warhol, and his art working also could do art work like him even it's with computer photoshop application. Critics criticize the art work in popular culture.It's better if someone has informed opinion about something,that's the reason we call that kind of people critics.When the critics criticize art working,any book,music and etc...their knowledge about it they know the details how is it works but if someone criticize anything they might'nt  have any knowledge about it and, they don't know the details,how is it works so their criticize would be personal criticize.Evey one have different taste and bias,its depends personal intrest.Some people might like rock music, pop music or,  interested in sports and some of them music.  People think different my truth might be someones erroneous.Warhol's portraits was more likely looking same thing in different angles,colors,taste and bias.He used different colors in one portrait and different tone of colors inside of those colors which is makes more lithochromatic the portraits.It's depend on people if the portraits are important if the person cares and interested in art of course it is but if the person doesn't care about it its not,for the portraits re important because I like and respect art.I think every portrait have meaning.There were a lot of artists in the past,some of them just loved it and some of them painted for money.I feel pleasant about making warhol portrait of my self because first of all I learned a new technique on photoshop application and second reason is even I cannot draw like him I could make it like him.

                    When we started to the project first some of us took picture of their self and I choose a picture of my self and then first i placed it on adobe photoshop cs6 after that I used quick selection tool to separate my self from the picture,after I separate my self from the picture I went to images and desaturate the the picture so automatically it turned into black and white then again I went to images/adjustment and brightness/contrast to edit how bright was it..After that I went to filter and opened filter gallery and choose cutout from the artistic,so the picture had became some more blurred.After that I opened new background and drug the picture to the new background this part was the most hardest part for me because I had different pictures from other with width and heigh so I had to make a compatible background with my picture.Couple time I erase what I've done and re-do it anyway I counted and found best width and height for my picture and druged it to the new background I re-sized the picture and duplicate 3 time more,so i had 4 of them.I opened new folder for them and i re-named them as a frame 1-2-3-4.After that I created color background for each of them with frame tool layer.After that I painted with different colors the background.In the end part I went to select and I selected load selection to select picture when i select the  picture I grabbed the paint bucket tool,before i paint them i opened new background for each of them and then I choose what color i wanted to and i painted them .

 In the lab#3 we had to to we had to cut lancelot from the picture.We had to cut every single hair with it.So first I used quick selection tool and use refine edge with deselection brush.After to re-size the lancelot I used shift+command+T.After that i went to images which menu in bar and went to adjustment to re-color the baby lancelot I made 8 different color lancelot.Then i used the task tool to write my name lab and date then i saved it.

           In lab#2 we had choose pictures from our pictures example of low point,high point,close-up,
landscape,and eye-level shot.The goal was to understanding our camera angels.we opened  adobe
photoshop cs6 and then in the top menu we clicked edit and new to open new background.then again from the edit we click on placed and we choosed our pictures.we we choose them we re-size and re placed it.

What ia web design

           Web design is duration of creating websites.everything about web sites,the way it looks and the way its works is made by web design.Web design is precess of conceptualizing,planning and building a collection of electronic files that determine the layout,colosr,textstyles,structute,graphics,and use of interactive features that deliver pages to your site visitor.

Lab#2reflection

            This lab tought is how to use some of the tools likemarque tools,lasso tools.quikselection tools.we also learned how to cut the subjects and redesign them.First we dowloaded some of the
Vegitables and fruits from jupiter Ed.and then we added to theadobe photoshop cs6 from the
File and placeit.when we placed it we duplicated.and then we started to use the tools.first I used
The tool the name called elliptical marque tool,to cut the melon and when i finish with cutting the
Melon I right clicted on it and copied as a lliyar via copy.and it putted it in another section.Then I used other tolls onthe other fruit and vegies for example I used polygn lasso too for macorroni,magnetic tool on a radish. When I fonished with all of them they were all in different backround.fisrt I disselected the original backround.and I selected all the vegies and fruits.first I clicted on a melon I replaced it and then I made second copy of carrot,blueberrie,radish and kiwi.and I replaced them on a melon and in the final I puted a cithen picture in a backround and I had finished with my lab#2.

             Marque tool is used to draw selections based on geometric shapes.There are 4 tyes of marque tolls.I m gonna talk about only two of them one of them is rectangular marque tool.With this
Tool u could marked square subjects easily.and with the eliptical marque tool u could marked eliptical subjects easily.Its depend whatever u work on it so both of them is useful for me

                               In the lab I had picked my 4 favorite picture,We had to print it but before print it
           We had to re size it for fit to the paper .I went to ''files'' and then I went to ''place''and I picked
          my picture.When i was resizing  the pictures first I touched to the ''shift'' and then i resized the
          picture from the corner.It was easy for me and I feel like it was an success lab for me,cause
          I believe in that I took relly good pictures.I most enjoyed part was to taking pictures.
          I believe in that theses skills will be useful in my other visual design classes.

GIF-A lossless format for image files that supports both animated and static images

TIFF-A  file format used for still-image bitmaps,stored in tagger fields.Application programs can use the tags to accept or ignore fields,depending their capabilities.

RAW- picture file format that some of the more advanced cameras have the option of using when taking photograph.

PNG-''Poltable network graphics''is a raster graphics file format that supports lossless data compression.

BMP-An image file format supported by many programs,including microsoft paint.BMP which comes from word''bitmap''is intended for of line use,since BMP's tend to be large in size.

The Rule of Third

                            The Rule of  Third is breaking an image into thirds,horizontally and vertically
       3 by 3 so u divide the screen 9 equal part.the aim is place your subject in either the top,left or the
       right third of the screen,and the middle placement idea is to spit the image into a 1:2 ratio.
       So the Rule of Third add to the image better appearance.
     


                             

MAC OS X El Capitan vs WINDOWS 10

                   The battlefield of the desktops is almost 33 years old.In one side we have MACs the
       giant of the editing,movies,musics,good software,work and in the other side  we have    
       WINDOWs the giant of gaming,office work.A lot of people discuss about it,which one
       is better.So let's start with MACs.


                    Mac OS X is one of the biggest computer.If u want more secure,editing movies,
       music or videos,good software higher quality  hardware u should choose Mac OS X.It's
       really comfortable.Even most of the people says that u can't game on mac it's not true,
       even mac is not a gaming computer u could and the results are surprising cause you
       could play comfortably.Even in the new brand of the Window laptops has touchscreen
       but mac doesn't have,it's depressing.but if your phone,tablet,computer is from Apple Inc.
       it's really amazing that all of them is in connection and it's really impressive all the users.
       Most of the people think that Mac OS X doesn't get virus it's wrong,it does but less than
       windows,which is pretty cool.The cost of the Apple mac is really high but u could use your
       mac for years without problem and when u think about the good software,higher quality
       hardware it's %100 with it.We talked about Mac now let's talk about Windows.



                  Window PCs are the another biggest computer.If u want a Window PC you have to
       think about it a lot because there you've got more options.any brand,or with any feature.
       touch screen,or a tablet with keyboard as a laptop. or even u could merge the pieces and create
       your own pc which is really cool,and if you're looking for gaming pc this is %100 your
       computer.You could play any game and in the latest Windows is support XBOX.Windows
       takes a lot of virus and because of that you have to pay for the security apps or you've to
       formatting it several time in a year which is really annoying but the latest windows 10 seem
       like improved it self and doesn't get virus as the oldest versions.



                   My opinion is Mac OS X El Capitan is better than windows 10.Because of good,faster
       software,higher quality hardware,editing movies,music and videos,are the features that I'm
       looking for a computer.I can edit my music,watch movies in higher quality,and even sometimes
       I could play games.And i believe in that the price is worth it...

                       My name is Akin Acar.I was born in New York City on April 12th 1999.I like to play basketball,
             play guitar,watching movies,computers,travel different places (city,country) and learning different        
             languages.My parents are from Turkey and I had live in Turkey for 9 year.For better education,
             play basketball in PSAL,to learn different languages and etc... came back to New York City.Now I'm 
             living with my father.I like to listen Rock music.Usually I like to listen 70s and 80s hits.I've dreams
             and plans for my feature so I'm kind of working hard to rich them.For example go to the University 
             if I'm good enough play basketball in college league,became a member of a rock band(just for hobby)
             and become computer engineer. After 9 year when I turn back to the New York City I went to NCHS to         
             improve my English.After a year when I finish my sophomore year I've switched my school.Now I m in 
             ITHS.

                 

                   

                      Why am I here.I'm here because I'd like to learn the subjects that I'm interested in,like computers.
             Get better places,better degree,but first I've got the start somewhere.So I've choose ITHS tech classes.
             As I said I'd like to go University and become computer engineer.I am believe in that any information
             that I am going to learn from tech classes gonna effect my college years.The Information that I am 
             going to learn is gonna help me to get better degree and come to the better places.So I didn't want to
             wait until University and wanted to start improve my computer(web design,photoshop and etc..)
             skills now.
